Why We're Here
Ah, the age-old question that has troubled philosophers for years. Fortunately for our business, we knew - even before the
company was "created" - what it was we wanted to do. With over 20 years experience in developing marketing
campaigns in successful large organisations, Robin Gofton set up the Spice Marketing Consultancy to help small and medium-sized
businesses to market themselves more effectively. Not necessarily by spending more money, but by spending what marketing
budgets they do have in a smarter way.

Our Story
Every brand needs a story – this is ours.
It starts - rather unexpectedly perhaps - with dead chickens. Dozens of dead chickens, all plucked, packaged and lined up on a supermarket shelf.
Not very exciting, not very inspiring. Not even very appetising. Nothing that would attract you to buy one over its neighbour.
Take those same dead chickens and flavour them with some spices, and you can end up with an almost endless variety
of different tasty dishes, from Tex-Mex to Indian, from North African to Malaysian, each with hundreds of further
variations. People say that variety is the spice of life; we prefer to think that spice adds some variety to life.
Without it, everything just looks, smells and tastes the same (like chicken!).
